Vintage Bird Coloured Wax Paste - 100ml

Birds & Bees coloured waxes are a creamy paste, designed to provide subtle colour over your painted surfaces, or over raw timber to add a little colour whilst sealing and protecting.

The wax is easy to apply with either a brush or soft cloth & dries clear. 

Our wax creates the perfect protective finish for your painted and stained furniture.

Made from natural ingredients including pure bees wax from regional NSW/Victoria and a mix of oils including hemp oil. Our wax also contains a small amount of carnauba wax which helps to give the waxed surface a more durable finish once cured. A carefully selected blend of essential oils means it smells divine. 

Once applied, leave approximately 30 minutes, then wipe over with a lint free cloth to remove excess wax. After a further 30 minutes, lightly buff waxed areas.

Our coloured waxes can be used on their own, or over our other sealers - clear wax, Hemp Finishing Oil, or either of our Silk Clear Coats.

If you're using wax paste to seal your painted finishes, or timber, please be aware it is best to re-apply approximately every 6 - 12 months, and buff regularly in between times.

Please keep wax in a cool, dry spot - humidity will affect the waxes surface in the tin, and excessive heat can cause the oils to separate from the wax.
